Top-Down Cleaning:

Top-Down  Cleaning is the process of moving through each room in your house with  an eye for anything that needs to be cleaned starting in one corner and  looking from top to bottom all the way around the room.  Rooms are  dusted around the perimeter from top to bottom, removing cobwebs from  around the ceiling and dusting baseboards.  Walls are checked for areas  that need extra attention.  Switchplate covers are wiped clean as well  as doors, door knobs and wall hangings.  All furniture is dusted from  the top down as well, with extra attention given to areas that may be  soiled due to frequent usage such as handles and cabinet doors.

When  the perimeter and all objects in the room have been cleaned, the floor  is cleaned removing any dust/debris that was shaken down during the  cleaning process.  Accessible areas of carpets are vacuumed and edged,  hard floors are mopped and in some cases scrubbed with a scrub brush if  needed.  Hard wood floors are treated with an appropriate hard wood  floor cleaner.  

Bathrooms are cleaned in the same manner.  Tub,  tile, shower enclosures, sinks, vanities, mirrors and toilets are all  cleaned and sanitized.  Soap trays/dispensers, toothbrush holders and  other objects in the bathroom are wiped clean.

In the kitchen, all  cabinets, countertops, tables and chairs are wiped down.  All items on  the countertops are wiped down including canisters and appliances.  The  inside and outside of the microwave is cleaned.  From the toaster, the  crumb tray is emptied and wiped down.  Coffee makers are cleaned.   Insides of ovens and refrigerators can be cleaned at an additional  cost.  

All trash is collected and removed; placed in your outside  receptacles or in any other area that you specify for trash collection.
